Laundry Room Renovation (Before + After Photos)

When we first moved into our house, the laundry was in the basement. I already dislike laundry, so going up and down two flights of stairs made me dread it even more. I dreamed up a plan to move the washer/dryer to the main floor half bathroom and it was the best. decision. ever.

Let’s take a look back at the process. After finding a lot of mold under this wallpaper, we torn this room to the studs and started over.

I wasn’t excited by a design for a couple of years! It was a pretty bland white room with a toilet, sink and washer/dryer from 2020-2022. But once inspiration struck, I created this moodboard!

Every step of this project we did on our own over the course of a few months. I’m really proud of both the design and execution! I’d say the final result captures the same vibe. What do you think?
