Galentine’s Day is the perfect occasion to celebrate the wonderful women in your life, and what better way to do so than by hosting a fun dinner party with your closest friends? In this blog post, I’ll give you allllll the details of the Candlelit Pizza Night Galentine’s party I recently hosted.

First, here’s a list of everything I used for this event!

Decor

I knew wanted a fun but semi-formal tablescape to tie in the candelit dinner atmosphere… Usually pizza night includes paper plates and a casual get together, but I love an unexpected play on events. I started with a crisp white tablecloth as my base, and then add a touch of romance with pink geometric vases filled with faux florals in shades of pink and red. Then I staggered crystal candlesticks holding blush pink and white candles with red heart details throughout the center of the table. I had the faux florals already from a project I created for one of my best friend’s weddings, but you could absolutely opt for fresh flowers instead! There are tons of options for purchasing crystal candlesticks, but I recommend checking out your local thrift stores first… They almost always have them in stock for a great price!

For the place settings, I purchased these scalloped pink and red heart plate chargers as the focal point. I layered a classic white plate on top, and add a personalized sugar cookie for each guest. These sweet treats double as name cards, adding a personal touch to each setting. If you’re interested in creating your own personalized sugar cookie place holders, check out my blog on it here!

Drinks

Keep the spirits high with festive and girly drinks. Serve champagne in heart-shaped flutes, accompanied by a whimsical touch of cotton candy. For a non-alcoholic option, consider serving Shirley Temples – a delightful and colorful mocktail that everyone can enjoy. For those who want a little buzz, add a shot of vodka for a spiked Shirley Temple drink instead! For some extra fun, we added edible glitter to our drinks to make them sparkle!

Hosting a Galentine’s Day dinner party with a candlelit pizza night vibe is a fun way to celebrate your friends. Cheers to love, laughter, and the fabulous women in your life!
